Issue a Receipt Against an Invoice

    < 1 min read

    1. Go to the Invoices tab and find an active invoice with receipt payment status Pending or Partial.
    2. Click the Receipt button in the Actions column.
    3. The Receipt form opens pre-filled with the invoice data.
    4. Fill in the Transaction Details — Mode of Payment, Collector Name, Account Number and so on.
    5. Enter the Invoice Paid Amount.
    6. Click Submit Receipt.

Note: The Receipt button only appears on Active invoices whose Receipt Status is not Full. Cancelled or fully paid invoices do not need a receipt.

Multiple invoices on one receipt #

You can add further invoice rows in the Invoices section and specify a paid amount for each one, so a single customer payment can settle several invoices at once.
