Accessibility Guide

Keyboard navigation #

• All forms and interactive elements are reachable by keyboard
• Tab moves forward through form fields and buttons
• Shift + Tab moves backward
• Enter or Space activates buttons and submits forms
• Esc closes modals and dialogs

Screen reader support #

• All form fields have associated labels
• Error messages are announced when validation fails
• Status indicators (Filled, Generated, Uploaded) are readable by screen readers
• Table headers are properly labelled for navigation

Visual accessibility #

• High contrast mode is supported
• Font sizes can be adjusted using browser zoom (Ctrl/Cmd + or -)
• Colour is never the only indicator of status — text labels accompany all status indicators
• Cancelled invoices are marked with both a red background and “Cancelled” status text

Form accessibility #

• Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*)
• Inline validation gives immediate feedback without submitting the form
• Error messages are specific and actionable
• Auto-calculated fields are clearly labelled as read-only
